Dr. Vickroy has been exposed to diversity through athletics and education. At age 5, he started playing baseball and soccer then branched out into numerous sports including track, cross country, wrestling, softball, skiing, basketball, and any sport using a racquet. He had the opportunity to train with Olympic athletes in different sports and as a chiropractor, he trained college athletes back from injury.
Dr. Vickroy has had many different chiropractic patients from computer desk workers, college athletes, stay at home moms, retired grandparents, to even a sheep herder. He worked with them to get out of pain and to prevent it from happening again. It was a combination of chiropractic and exercise.
Throughout Dr. Vickroy's clinic and internship experiences, he realized how chiropractic and exercise work hand in hand. Chiropractic will help get the body moving properly to increase function. Exercise will help the body get stronger to increase function. If you would like your body to operate at its best, Dr. Vickroy is the right man for the job. Do not hesitate to contact our office to arrange your chiropractic treatment with Dr. Vickroy.
Dr. Nga Tran, D.C.
was born and raised in San Diego, California. She is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor's degree in Human Development. She then attended a graduate school at the esteemed Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California where she received a doctorate of Chiropractic. She graduated cum laude and was elected to the Phi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honor Society. She practices Diversified Technique, which has been effective and widely used by many chiropractors over the years. She has also participated in a clinic abroad program in Madagascar, Africa, which provided care to over one hundred fifty patients.
Dr. Tran decided to become a chiropractor after being a chiropractic patient herself. She was involved in three hit-and-run accidents. Yes, three. After the car accidents, she experienced multiple symptoms in her neck and low back, including throbbing headaches, insomnia, muscle spasms, muscle tightness, stiffness and fatigue. Her daily activities of living, as well as school and work were drastically affected. She saw her first chiropractor at a college health fair and continued care for 3 years for prevention and maintenance until she left for Palmer College of Chiropractic. After the first three treatments, Dr. Tran felt much relief and was amazed at the power of chiropractic care. She was inspired by her chiropractor to also become a chiropractor herself, to be able to help and educate people like how he has helped her. He was not only her chiropractor; he was her coach, educator and companion. Chiropractic is a life changing experience that improved her health, wellness and way of living. Now Dr. Tran is ready to help others to reach their optimum health and healthiest way of living.
